My bags

are hand-crocheted and then felted using the washing machine and dryer. I next add buttons, beads, decorative threads, etc. Each bag is unique and, if you don't see one here in the colours you like, you can email me with a request for a custom bag. NOTE: each bag is priced at 65 US dollars. At this point in time that price includes shipping and handling. Some of the bags are larger and some have more beading than others but they are all hand-crafted and represent many hours of work!

Eye of the Sea Bag

This hand-crocheted and washing machine felted bag is one of my favorites! Instead of dreadlocks like my other bags, this one is finished with silky eye-lash yarn. The bag is approximately 7 inches or 18 cm long and the shoulder strap is 47.5 inches or 121 cm long (so the bag will hang approximately 23 inches from the top of your shoulder).

Purple Passion Bag

This bag is made drom 100% wool yarn and embellished with acrylic and metal beads and buttons. The strap is 28 cm (11 inches) long and the body of the bag is 18 cm (7 inches) long and 15 cm (circa 6 inches) wide. The dreadlock tassle is approximately 8 cm (circa 3 inches) long.

Ocean Spirit Bag

The dreadlocks as well as the bag itself are 100% wool while the green and gold ties are cotton and polyester yarn. The strap is 35.5 cm or 14 inches long; the pouch itself is 16 cm or 6.5 inches long not including the dreads. The pouch closes by wrapping the front tie around the glass bead.

Inspiration / Story behind this bag:
I call this one Ocean Spirit not only because of the blue-green colour scheme but also because the "dreadlocks" remind me of tentacles. Or they could be corals growing on an ocean reef. The gold highlights in the glass beads are the sun shining through the waves.

Ocean Treasure Bag

100% wool bag that has been first crocheted and then felted in the washing machine and then embellished with acrylic and glass beads. Plus 3 "ancient coin" buttons complete the treasure trove. The strap is 14 cm (5.5 inches) long while the body of the bag is 15 cm (circa 6 inches) long and 13 cm (circa 5 inches) wide .

Simply Elegant (large version)

100% wool bag that has been first crocheted and then felted in the washing machine and then embellished with acrylic beads and buttons. The strap is 39 cm long and the body of the bag is 18 cm long and 19 cm wide.
